• 25 April 2003 SECURITY ADVISORY
  Bugzilla 2.16.3 and 2.17.4 contain multiple security fixes. Please update as soon as possible.
  Note that the templates are affected as well. The CVS version of Bugzilla-de (2.17.4) already contains these fixes. (The tar archive of Bugzilla-de is no longer maintained but is affected as well.)
• 15 February 2003 A new Bugzilla version will be soon available: 2.16.3 and the snapshot 2.17.4
  Bugzilla-de Now in a better shape but still neither complete nor completely checked. The current CVS version works best with 2.17.4 - when it will become available.
• 2 January 2003: There are new Bugzilla versions available: 2.14.5, 2.16.2 (both security updates) and a new unstable snapshot 2.17.3. Details about the changes can be found in the new status update.
  Bugzilla-de has been updated to 2.17.3 but is unfortunally still not complete.
• 19 November 2002:
  • Bugzilla: There is a new status update available and the snapshot 2.17.1 is coming soon.
  • Bugzilla-ru: There is now also a Russian Bugzilla version available.
  • Bugzilla-de: More files are up to the current 2.17 CVS tree, but still not all.
• 3 October 2002: Status [2.17]: 66 of 95 template files have been translated, but not all are up to date. Almost all user-visible strings are now in the template. Planed: 1. Bugzilla: Templatize all administrative files. 2. Bugzilla-de: Update files.
• 29 July 2002: Creation of the Bugzilla.de SF project
• 30 April 2002: Start of the Project

What is Bugzilla?

Bugzilla is one example of a class of programs called "Defect Tracking Systems", or, more commonly, "Bug-Tracking Systems". Defect Tracking Systems allow individual or groups of developers to keep track of outstanding bugs in their product effectively.

This project provides German templates for Bugzilla. This allows you to provide your Bugzilla installation with a(n additional) German interface.
